Cartpo Data Deletion Policy and Procedure

 

 

At Cartpo, we value your privacy and provide you with full control over your personal data. This Data Deletion Policy explains how users can request the deletion of their personal data and how we process such requests in compliance with Google Play Store requirements, GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy laws.

 

1. User Data Collection and Security

 

• Cartpo collects user data necessary for account creation, security, and enhanced user experience.

• All collected user data is encrypted in transit to protect against unauthorized access.

• Supported Account Creation Methods:

• Username-based accounts (user ID, email, phone number).

• Authentication methods (two-factor authentication, OTP, biometric login, single sign-on).

 

2. How to Request Data Deletion

 

Users can request the deletion of their account and personal data by following these steps:

 

2.1 In-App Data Deletion Request

 

1. Open the Cartpo app.

2. Navigate to Settings > Privacy > Delete Account.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to submit your request.

 

2.2 Request via Email

 

Users can also request data deletion by emailing support@iholda.com with the subject line: “Request for Data Deletion” and providing their registered email or user ID for verification.

 

3. Data Deletion Procedure

 

1. Verification: To prevent unauthorized deletion, we verify the identity of the requestor.

2. Processing Time: Requests are processed within 7-90 days from the date of verification.

3. Permanent Deletion: Upon approval, your Cartpo account and associated personal data will be permanently deleted from our system, except for legally required records.

4. Confirmation Notification: A confirmation email will be sent once your data is deleted.

 

4. Data Retention Exceptions

 

Certain data may still be retained due to:

• Legal & Regulatory Compliance: Retaining transaction history for tax, fraud prevention, or legal requirements.

• Security & Abuse Prevention: Preventing fraudulent activity and ensuring platform integrity.

• Anonymous Aggregated Data: Non-personally identifiable information that helps us improve our services.

 

5. Deleting Data from Third-Party Services

 

If you created your Cartpo account using Google, Facebook, Apple, or other third-party login providers, you must also request data deletion from those platforms separately.
